Medical Weight Management - Nurse Practitioner
Janie Dinh, FNP-BC
I started my medical career as a Cardiac Nurse Specialist, working my way up to permanent charge nurse for over 20 years at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. After that, I worked as a Clinical Heart Failure Nurse Navigator in the Edward- Elmhurst Heart Hospital. I developed the Congestive Heart Failure Nursing Protocol alongside a team of Cardiologists, Family Practitioners, Internists, and senior nursing staff. During that time period, my passion for complex patient management drove me to obtain my master's degree in nursing from Lewis University in Illinois. I received my credentialing for Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2019.
Since then, I have been practicing Medical Weight Loss Management with subspecialities in Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Cholesterol Management. My family and I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2022. I have taken care of thousands of patients for their weight loss needs, and have worked alongside board-certified Obesity Medicine Specialists.
I work hard to develop trusting relationships with my patients. I believe in teamwork and setting realistic goals to improve overall health and well-being. I assure that my patients have all the information they need to make the best medical decision to losing weight. This includes education on healthy hormones, aging, energy levels, blood sugar levels, better sleep, and a healthy mindset.
